- Why do you only cover The Midlands?Midlands Home Finder is dedicated to providing you with the best properties in your area. To do this we chose to only cover this region, meaning you can find property in YOUR area.
- Do I have to register to use the site?If you just want to search for property, then no you do not have to register. We would recommend registering to get the best out of the site. Registering has several benefits including:
- The ability to create a Shortlist of your favourite properties.
- The ability to register your property requirements. When property becomes available that matches your requirements we will email you.
- The ability to list your contact details for potential sellers / landlords to contact you directly with types of property you may be interested in.
- In future, registered members will be able to sign up for a regular newsletter that will include property news and special offers.
- Does it cost anything to register?It does not cost anything to register on Midlands Home Finder. Registration will always be completely free.
Registration and User Details
- How do I register to use the site?Simply click the Register Now link on the top menu bar, or the main menu on the left of every page. Provide your name and email address, as well as a username and password.You will receive a confirmation email to the address you provide. You will need to click the link in this email to activate your account. Activation is necessary to prevent Spam bots signing up.Please note you will not be able to log in until you have activated your account.
To register now click here. - What happens if I do not receive my activation email?If you do not receive your activation email, do not register again. Check your junk mail folder to make sure the email has not been blocked. If it has still not arrived then please contact us with your username and email address.
- Can I change my User Details?You are welcome to change user email address, username and password at any time. Simply click the 'Change Login Details' link on the User Menu, after you have logged in.
- What if I forget my password?If you forget your password, simply click the 'Forgot Password' link on the Login page to request a new one. You will be sent a temporary password which you can use to Login, then change your password to something more memorable.To change your password now click here .
Listing a Property
- How do I List a Property?
- Firstly you need to register by clicking the 'Register Now' link.
- Next you need to create your Seller Profile. To do this, click 'My Seller Profile' in the Seller Menu.
- Once you have created your Seller Profile, decide whether you want a Free, Premium or Featured listing. To view the different packages and prices, click 'Our Listing Prices' from the Main Menu. Click the relevent link in the Seller Menu to start the listing process.
- For a Free Listing, press the 'Create a Free Listing' link, and complete the information. Then press the Submit Listing button at the bottom of the page. You will be taken to your Listings Page, and the listing will be automatically published.
- For a Premium of Featured listing, click the appropriate link. You will be taken to Paypal to pay. Paypal is completely secure, and we do not see your card details.
- After paying, you will then be redirected back to Midlands Home Finder. Click 'My Property Listings', and edit the property you have just created. When you have finished, click Submit Listing to save and publish your listing.
